An accident at the entrance to Nantucket Memorial Airport Wednesday morning sent one woman to the hospital with a wrist injury.
The woman, the driver of a Ford Escape XLT, was taking a left turn into the airport when her vehicle collided with a Dodge Ram 1500 coming from the other direction on Airport Road.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed away from the scene.
Police said they have not yet determined who will be cited in the accident.
