• I met Krister Stendahl on a bright summer afternoon on the back deck at Maggie and Jim Nettles' home. Lively conversation about the arts and especially theatre was buzzing around. With quiet words, Krister spoke eloquently on the nature of choice in our lives as a point of the conversation. He spoke with a grace and wisdom I will never forget. He was a great light, My thoughts are with his family.
